You should all have received an email about this but I am following up here.

I have just returned from Cyprus with bottles of virtually all if not all of the varietal wines currently produced, mostly autochthonous varieties. These include Xynisteri, Spourtiko, Promara, Morokanella, Mavro, Yiannoudi, Moscato, Commandaria and marc spirit, plus a unique take on Cabernet Sauvignon.

I am showing these at a tasting at the Central London Wine Society, which has extended an invitation to members of AWE.

The tasting is from 6-8:30pm at the Civil Service Club, Great Scotland Yard on Wed 29th June and the cost is unlikely to significantly exceed £20-25 payable at the door.

If you would like to attend but have yet to reply, please email me at [email protected] no later than tomorrow evening.

So sorry to miss this as I won’t be in the UK – it sounds like a great opportunity to taste these wines.
