Explore the flavours of Italy through the perfect pairing of antipasti and wines.

During this course you will enjoy a selection of antipasti prepared by our Le Cordon Bleu Master Chef, from cured meats to crostini, and Matthieu Longuere MS will provide a pairing of Italian wine for each dish. Ideal for Italian food lovers and wine enthusiasts.

By the end of this lesson students will be able to:
•    apply sensory evaluation skills to a range of Italian wines.
•    Describe the factors influencing food and wine pairing.
•    Identify what is considered as typical Italian flavours
•    Appreciate the range of Italian wines suitable with antipasti

Food:
•    Salami, Taggiasca olives, ciabatta
•    Bagna cauda, crudites
•    Crostini, Caponata
•    Macaroni, bottarga, chilli
•    Courgette flower fritter, ricotta, pinenuts
•    Prawn skewer, oregano, lemon
