Experience

Diana Thompson has 30 years’ experience within the wine and hospitality industry, including national and international roles with Corney & Barrow, Southcorp Wines (now Treasury Wine Estates) and Waverley Wines & Spirits. Having been a Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) certified tutor for 10 years Diana now offers bespoke wine courses.

Having worked closely with hotels and restaurants with her company Thompson PR, Diana launched Wine Events Scotland in 2016, and works with producers and consumers holding workshops, tastings and events across Scotland. Diana has scooped up several awards including most recently Leading Organiser of Wine Festivals & Workshops 2023 – Scotland at the Lux Hospitality Awards 2023.
