Emma Dalton is a multilingual fine wine and sake consultant with over 20 years of experience.
She holds the WSET Diploma in Wines and Spirits and was awarded the Cálem Port Scholarship for her performance in that examination.
She specialises in providing bespoke wine, sake and spirit consultancy services, always tailoring her approach to the client’s requirements and the intended audience.
A natural communicator, her tutored tastings range from lighthearted introductions to wine, sake and spirits to masterclasses focusing on specific regions, grapes or aspects of production for those who wish to put their existing knowledge in a wider perspective. Tutored wine dinners combine introductory or masterclass level tuition with with a menu carefully chosen to compliment the wines served.
Her written and photographic work encompasses wine and winemaker profiles, wine tourism and consumer-focused buying and cellarage advice.
At trade and public shows, she is able to quickly memorise producer and product information prior to presenting wines and sakes and providing relevant information in response to attendees’ enquiries.
She works and judges internationally.
