Jamie Smith is the Director and founder of the Online Wine Tasting Club, an online platform that offers virtual wine tastings and educational experiences. With a focus on delivering accessible and engaging wine education, Jamie has developed a series of expert-led tastings that cater to a wide range of wine enthusiasts, from beginners to advanced consumers.

Jamie has worked closely with renowned sommeliers, winemakers, and industry professionals to curate a comprehensive tasting program that explores diverse wine regions and styles. His expertise in wine tasting, combined with his ability to communicate key wine concepts effectively, has contributed to the success and growth of the Online Wine Tasting Club.

As well as Online, Jamie hosts in person experiences, from inimate garden BBQ’s to 150 person wine & cheese events for City firms, as well as presenting at local wine clubs and festivals.

Additionally, Jamie is committed to sustainable practices in the wine industry through his company’s use of EcoSIP technology, which focuses on innovative and eco-friendly packaging solutions. His work aims to enhance the wine tasting experience while promoting environmental responsibility.

Judge at the International Wine Competition and WSET Educator, winner of IWSC’s Emerging Talent in Wine award for 2021. Jamie has spent 20 years in the wine business, including fine dining, importing, consultancy and training. Having spent a decade in the US  Jamie has a huge passion for wines from the US.
