We are delighted to announce that AWE member Claire Blackler is now a Master of Wine.

Claire was one of just 3 new MWs announced today, bringing the total number of MWs worldwide to 419.

As well as passing the rigorous theory and practical exams, each MW student must complete an individual research project. Claire’s chosen subject was very topical to the world of wine over the last year: The application of video to consumer wine tastings — an investigation into consumer experiences and outcomes.

We all have some appreciation of just how much work goes into becoming a Master of Wine, so we’re truly delighted to congratulate Claire on her fantastic achievement, on behalf of all her AWE colleagues and friends.
